BIDU-SW (09888.HK) (BIDU.US) has officially launched the Ernie 4.5 and Ernie X1, both available on the ERNIE Bot website and free for users. The Ernie 4.5 is now live on the Baidu AI Cloud Qianfan platform. Enterprise users and developers can access the API upon login. The Ernie X1 will also be available on Qianfan. Meanwhile, products like Baidu Search will gradually integrate the Ernie 4.5 and Ernie X1. The Ernie 4.5 is Baidu's first native multimodal foundation model with significant improvements in multimodal understanding, text, and logical reasoning. It outperforms GPT4.5 in several tests, but its API call only costs 1% of GPT4.5. The Ernie X1 is a deep-thinking model benchmarked against DeepSeek-R1.
