BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) (002594.SZ) announced that the launch event for its Yangwang U7 will take place on March 27 at 7:30 p.m. The Yangwang U7, available in four-seat and five-seat configurations, was reportedly unveiled at the 2024 Auto Guangzhou in both plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and electric vehicle (EV) flagship versions, with pre-sales commencing at a deposit of RMB20,000. In terms of range capabilities, the Yangwang U7 is equipped with BYD’s proprietary high-performance blade battery and features a full-domain 800V high-voltage platform across all models.
