With China's trade-in policy boosting semiconductor demand, Samsung Electronics' exports to China surged by 53.9% last year to KRW64.93 trillion (around US$44.73 billion), surpassing its exports to the US of KRW61.35 trillion (around US$42.27 billion) during the same period, Korean media reported. Analysts attributed this sturdy performance to China's proactive economic stimulus policy, which injected RMB150 billion (around KRW30 trillion) into the market to spur demand for smartphones and home appliances. As a result, semiconductor demand soared and boosted a robust recovery for major semiconductor suppliers. AAStocks Financial News |
