Zhejiang Geely Holding Group recently applied to register trademarks including "DEEPSTEP" and "DEEPTRAIL", according to Chinese media's data from Qichacha. These trademarks fall under international classifications for scientific instruments, transportation vehicles, and design research, with their current status listed as "pending registration". Earlier, DeepSeek and Geely Automobile had jointly announced that two multimodal foundation models from their collaborative Step series were made open-source to global developers. These include Step-Video-T2V, which boasts the largest parameter count and top performance among open-source video generation models worldwide, and Step-Audio, the industry’s first product-grade open-source voice interaction foundation model.
