WHARF REIC (01997.HK) announced its results today. Group Chairman Stephen Ng was not optimistic about the outlook for offices, shopping malls and hotels in Hong Kong, and was not confident enough to expect improvement in 1H25, Ng said. The overall downtrend for offices, shopping malls and hotels remains, Ng added. As to when confidence in the market could be restored, it would depend on the response of tenants, such as tenants starting to expand scale or overseas tenants coming to Hong Kong to develop their business, etc..
