KINGDEE INT'L Spikes 20%+ as Brokers Praise for Subsequent Growth

KINGDEE INT'L (00268.HK) opened 6.1% higher today, reaching a peak of HKD17.36. The stock closed at HKD17.04, up 20.85%, with a trading volume of 166 million shares and a turnover of HKD2.72 billion. The company had earlier announced the establishment of Kingdee Qatar Company (literal translation of “金蝶卡塔爾公司”), marking its official entry into the Middle East market, with support from the Qatar Investment Authority, the Investment Promotion Agency Qatar, and the Qatar Free Zones Authority. Additionally, several brokers published research reports expressing optimism about Kingdee’s future growth. Nomura noted that Kingdee’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) transformation over the past few years has begun to yield results, providing the group with sustainable revenue streams and cash flow, and suggested the company could turn profitable within the year. Jefferies highlighted that the success of China’s AI platform “DeepSeek” could unlock new growth opportunities for the Chinese software market, naming Kingdee as its top pick. Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs’ latest March Asia-Pacific strategy report, based on its Earnings Revisions Leading Indicator (ERLI) criteria, also included Kingdee in its updated buy list.
