The Third Session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee opened in Beijing.

Francis Lui, a member of the CPPCC and Chairman of K. Wah Group and Galaxy Entertainment Group, proposed a number of CPPCC proposals, including policies such as exploring the promotion of a more convenient mode of clearance and capitalizing on “Southbound Travel for Guangdong Vehicles” to inject more vitality into the development of tourism in Hong Kong, Macau as well as the entire Greater Bay Area.

A “proportional application system” could be put in place when vetting applications for “Southbound Travel for Guangdong Vehicles”, whereby the relevant quota ratios could be adjusted to identify travelers with high spending power and travelers attending business meetings and conventions, etc., Lui added.
