On Tuesday (4th), SHK PPT (00016.HK) signed an agreement with the Airport Authority Hong Kong to extend the lease of the Airport Freight Forwarding Center (AFFC) by fifteen years until 2043. SHK PPT also announced that it intends to invest at least $400 million to comprehensively upgrade the facilities, including the introduction of digital equipment, which is expected to boost cargo handling capacity by 30%.
