A spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued a statement condemning the US for imposing an additional 10% tariff on certain Chinese products, on top of the existing 10% tariffs, as announced by the US on March 3 (Eastern Time).

In response, China has filed a new complaint against the US under the World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute settlement mechanism, targeting Washington’s latest tariff measures. The spokesperson accused the US of serious violations of WTO rules through its unilateral tariff actions, which they said undermine the foundation of China-US economic and trade cooperation.
