Lei Jun, founder and chairman of XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), stated at the launch event for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi SU7 Ultra that the company expects an investment of RMB105 billion poured into R&D over five years from 2021 to 2025. In 2025, the investment is expected to reach RMB30 billion, with AI and related businesses accounting for one-quarter of it. Priced from RMB6,499, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra comes in four colors. This model is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU featuring a high-performance antenna system and three communication chips. Combined with AI full-scenario optimization, it also supports network-free calls.
