China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) convened a forum on the fair business competition with representatives from seven enterprises, including Alibaba Group and JD Group, to engage in in-depth discussions and gather suggestions on addressing the issue of "involutionary" competition.

Meng Yang, a member of the Party Committee and deputy director of the SAMR, said that the SAMR will earnestly implement the requirements of the Central Economic Work Conference, enhance regular communication and exchanges with enterprises, strengthen anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition regulatory enforcement, reinforce the rigid constraints of fair competition review, accelerate the construction of a unified national market, and actively promote solutions to the problems enterprises encounter in fair competition, thereby aiding in their high-quality development.
