EU New Car Registrations Drop 2.6% in Jan

The European Automobile Manufacturers' Association announced that new car registrations in the EU fell by 2.6% in January.

In January, the proportion of hybrid-electric vehicles in new car registrations sharply increased to 34.9%, once again becoming the top choice for EU car owners. The proportion of pure electric vehicles rose to 15%, while the proportion of gasoline and diesel vehicles waned to 39.4%.
