Geely, Renault Reinforce Co-op, Plan to Produce & Sell Cars in Brazil

Renault and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group are strengthening their partnership and planning to cooperate in the production and sale of electric vehicles (EVs) and low-emission vehicles in Brazil. Renault said Geely will invest in Renault's Brazilian subsidiary and gain access to the company's production, sales and service networks in Brazil. Prior to this, Renault and Geely had joined hands on engines and hybrid powertrains. The latest agreement will give Geely better access to the Brazilian market, although the new joint venture still needs to be approved by the relevant regulatory authorities. AAStocks Financial News |
