China has unofficially suggested to RedNote, which was rumored to be interested in listing in Hong Kong, that bringing in state-owned investors could make the process of getting listing greenlight smoother, Bloomberg, citing people with the knowledge of the matter, reported. RedNote's current investors include BABA-W (09988.HK), Temasek and TENCENT (00700.HK). RedNote investors were selling their shares at a valuation of no less than US$20 billion, and a number of major venture capital firms, including Tencent, already expressed interest, according to hearsay last month.
