The National Healthcare Security Administration of China (NHSA) and the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Shaanxi Province jointly released the “National Reimbursement Drug List (2024)” (NRDL) for official implementation. This adjustment added a variety of new medicines for chronic diseases such as diabetes and rare diseases, totaling 91 medicines, and set up a 6-month transition period for negotiated drugs transferred during the agreement period that fail to be renewed and continue to be paid through 30 June.
