Regarding hearsay that WeChat is gray testing access to the DeepSeek R1 model, China Securities Journal quoted TENCENT's response that WeChat's search engine, while deploying the Tencent Hunyuan Foundation Model to enrich AI search, has recently officially gray-tested access to DeepSeek.
