Four shareholders of HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK), including two of its 20 largest shareholders, said that the Group's decision last month to exit its mergers and equity capital markets businesses in the Americas and Europe was reasonable, believing that the Group should focus on its core Asian market businesses, according to Reuters.
