ZEEKR (ZK.US), the electric vehicle (EV) brand of of GEELY AUTO (00175.HK), held a launch event in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, announcing that two models, ZEEKR 001 and ZEEKR X, are officially on sale in the Egyptian market. Among which, the starting price of ZEEKR 001 is EGP2.7 million (equivalent to about RMB388,300), and the starting price of ZEEKR X is EGP2.1 million (equivalent to about RMB301,900). The introduction of ZEEKR 001 and ZEEKR X is envisioned to satisfy local consumers' demand for high quality EVs and further enhance the influence of ZEEKR in the international market.
