The detailed implementation rules for Shanghai's 2025 vehicle replacement and renewal subsidy policy have been released. Until the end of December 2025, for individual consumers who purchase new energy passenger vehicles (PVs) (including pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and plug-in extended-range hybrid PVs) listed in the "Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises and Product Announcement" or other national relevant vehicle catalogs and transfer their PVs registered in Shanghai within the specified period, a one-time fixed subsidy of RMB15,000 will be provided. In addition, a one-time fixed subsidy of RMB13,000 will be granted to individual consumers who purchase new fuel PVs meeting the National VI-B emission standard and transfer their fuel PVs registered in Shanghai that meet National V or lower emission standards within the specified period.
