XIAOMI-W Handset Activations Up 42.5% YoY in Jan, Outrunning Peers: Research

In January 2025, manufacturers based in mainland China captured the top three places in terms of smartphones market activations in the mainland, based on the data from a third-party research organization. Among them, Huawei (6.3481 million units, 19.3% market share), XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) (5.7053 million units, 17.34% market share), vivo (5.4817 million units, 16.66% market share), OPPO (4.9192 million units) and Apple (AAPL.US) (4.5112 million units) were ranked first to fifth respectively.
