TENCENT's Finnish Game Maker Supercell Posts 77% Game Sales Surge Last Yr

TENCENT (00700.HK)'s Finnish game maker Supercell said that sales of its six games spiked 77% YoY to nearly US$3 billion last year, while EBITDA gained to more than US$900 million, with a similar hike to the sales growth, Bloomberg reported. Chief Executive Ilkka Paananen said the company is focusing on corporate culture and innovation, including recruiting people from different backgrounds, and disclosed that each of its games recorded growth in 2024 for the first time in a decade.
