David Tepper Elevates Holdings in Alibaba Group Holding/ JD.com/ CN Concept Stock ETFs in 4Q24

US hedge fund investor David Tepper's Appaloosa Management increased its holdings in China concept stocks in 4Q24. Appaloosa added its stake in Alibaba Group Holding (BABA.US) by 18.4% to a total amount of 11.84 million shares, representing approx. 15.5% of its US$6.7 billion portfolio, according to a disclosure document with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Alibaba continued to be the most heavily weighted stock for Appaloosa. The company also raised its stake in JD.com (JD.US) by 43% to 10.46 million shares, while lifting its holdings in iShares China Large-Cap ETF (FXI.US) by 13.8% to 6.6 million shares.
