LENOVO GROUP's Riyadh Production Base Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony

LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) announced that it had held last Sunday (9th) a groundbreaking ceremony for a new manufacturing base in Riyadh with Alat, a company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia. The new plant will be located in the Riyadh Integrated Zone, operated by the Saudi Integrated Logistics Special Zone, covering an area of 200,000 sq.m. It is predicted to produce millions of “Made in Saudi Arabia” laptops, desktops and servers each year. According to the plan, the new factory is expected to commence production in 2026, which will further enhance the resilience and flexibility of Lenovo's global supply chain, while providing more agile services to customers in the Middle East and Africa.
