Given the support of “national subsidies” offered by the Chinese government, sales of electronic products such as mobile phones and tablets were baking hot during the Spring Festival holiday in mainland, propelling a number of mobile phone equipment stocks to thrive this morning (6th).

HK blue chip SUNNY OPTICAL (02382.HK) opened 0.1% higher this morning (6th) and charted capital absorption, peaking at HK$77.45, hitting an about-1.5-year high. It last printed at HK$77.45, up 7.05%, with a turnover of $487 million. Another blue chip, BYD ELECTRONIC (00285.HK), also leaped 4.2% to HK$46.85, with a turnover of HK$309 million.

In addition, AAC TECH (02018.HK) opened higher and trended higher, peaking at HK$46.35, setting an almost-3.5-year high. It last stood at $45.95, up 4.08%, with a turnover of $267 million.

Q TECH (01478.HK) opened lower but trended higher by 2.3% at $8.08, with a turnover of $37.1381 million.
