CN MFA Believes Panama Will Provide Level Playing Field

Panama is considering canceling the contract of Hutchison Ports, a subsidiary of CKH HOLDINGS (00001.HK), to operate ports in Panama. Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) spokesman Lin Jian responded at a regular press conference that the HKSAR government has already responded to the issue about the operation of ports near the Panama Canal by the related Hong Kong company. Panama is a hub for international investment and has always been known for its good rule of law and transparent business environment.
