Global smartphone shipments in 4Q24 grew 2.6% YoY to 325.3 million units, maintaining the recovery momentum for five quarters in a row, TechInsights said in its report. For the year as a whole, global smartphone shipments rose 5.7% YoY to 1.2178 billion units. In 4Q, Apple (AAPL.US) topped the chart with a 23% market share.
