Hong Kong bourse opened higher this morning. The HSI opened higher by 37 points or 0.18% at 20,827; the HSCEI opened higher by 8 points or 0.1% at 7,652; and the HSTECH opened lower by 1 point at 4,975. In terms of techs, BABA-W (09988.HK) opened 1.4% higher at $99. TENCENT (00700.HK) opened 0.2% higher at $421.6. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) opened 2.1% higher at $154. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) opened 1% higher at $39.95. JD-SW (09618.HK) and BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) opened 0.8% and 1.1% lower respectively. BIDU-SW (09888.HK) opened 2.3% higher. Semiconductor stocks SMIC (00981.HK) and HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK) opened lower by 3.2% and 3.9% respectively. In terms of automakers, NIO-SW (09866.HK) opened 3.5% lower.
