U.S. President Donald Trump, after a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said that the US will take over and own the Gaza Strip, adding that the more than 2 million Palestinians currently living there should be removed and resettled in other countries in the Middle East to allow the U.S. to redevelop the Gaza Strip. Trump described the Gaza Strip as “hell” and said that the US will own the Gaza Strip and be responsible for disposing of unexploded bombs and other weapons, as well as leveling the land and disposing of damaged buildings, and creating an economic development that will provide an unlimited number of jobs and homes for the people there.
