Nvidia Thinks DeepSeek's Advancement Proves Chips in High Demand

Nvidia (NVDA.US) said Monday that Chinese AI company DeepSeek's advancement demonstrated the usefulness of Nvidia's chips for the Chinese market, and gauged that DeepSeek will need more chips in the future to meet demand for its services. Nvidia's shares still cascaded more than 17% in latest printing as investors were concerned that DeepSeek uses far fewer Nvidia chips than rivals such as OpenAI and other U.S. companies.
