China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) released the latest Vehicle Inventory Alert Index (VIA), which came in at 62.3 in January 2025, up 2.4 ppts YoY and 12.1 ppts MoM. The VIA was above the boom-or-bust line, indicating that the automobile distribution industry in mainland was in a downturn.
