The Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau and other government units recently issued the “Implementation Plan for Further Promoting Car Trade-In in Beijing by 2025”, which revealed that Beijing's automobile trade-in subsidies are divided into scrapping and renewal subsidies and replacement and renewal subsidies in 2025. Among which, individual consumers can apply for a maximum of RMB20,000 for scrapping and renewal subsidies, and a maximum of RMB15,000 for replacement and renewal subsidies. The subsidy for scrapping and renewal will be available from January 10, 2025 to January 10, 2026, and each individual consumer will be entitled to the subsidy for scrapping and renewal at most once, according to the program. The replacement and renewal subsidy will be available from February 8, 2025 to January 10, 2026, with a maximum subsidy of RMB15,000 for the transfer of eligible old vehicles and the purchase of new energy passenger vehicles (NEV-PVs).
