MIIT: CN 2024 Total Rev. of Software Industry Climbs 8.7% YoY

In 2024, the software industry in mainland China was in good shape, with software business revenue of RMB13.73 trillion, notching a steady growth of 10% YoY; total profit of nearly RMB1.7 trillion, up 8.7% YoY, with a slowdown in growth; and software exports of US$56.95 billion, up 3.5% YoY, which maintained a positive growth but with a deceleration, as data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) showed.
