MTR Overnight Services from 28 Jan for LNY; 1,600+ Additional Train Trips

MTR CORPORATION (00066.HK) said that to provide the public with convenient transportation for festive celebrations, it will step up train services on various lines starting from tomorrow (24th), adding a total of over 1,600 additional train trips throughout the Lunar New Year period. From this Friday to the Seventh Day of the Lunar New Year, train frequencies along four railway lines, including the Island Line, Tsuen Wan Line, East Rail Line and South Island Line, will be enhanced during designated periods on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Meanwhile, the East Rail Line and Disneyland Resort Line will run more train trips on most of the days over the period. All local railway lines (excluding journeys to or from Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations on the East Rail Line, Airport Express and Disneyland Resort Line) and seven Light Rail routes will also provide overnight services on the same night, while three MTR bus routes will extend their service hours.
