US President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House on his first day in office (20th) that the US would impose import tariffs on goods from all countries, but the US is not ready for it yet, Reuters reported.

The US is not ready to do so, said Trump. However, the US might implement it because essentially all countries are taking advantage of the US. Trump emphasized that tariffs are imposed on all countries doing business in the US since they are coming in to steal US wealth, steal US jobs, steal US companies, and harm US businesses. Consequently, tariffs need to be set up to prevent them from doing so.
