RedNote DAUs in US Spike 10x+ to 3.4M in Single Week: Data

Chinese social media app RedNote had about 3.4 million daily active users (DAUs) in the U.S. on both iOS and Android platforms as of Monday (13th), way up from less than 700,000 on Sunday (12th) and about 300,000 a week earlier, according to analytics firm Similarweb, Reuters reported. The impending U.S. ban on ByteDance's short-form video platform TikTok has attracted a large number of self-proclaimed "TikTok refugees". ByteDance's other social media platform Lemon8 had 1.7 million DAUs in the U.S. as of Monday, up from about 1.1 million in the last few weeks, the company said, adding that ByteDance's U.S. DAUs slumped 2.1% WoW to about 82.2 million.
