Bank of Korea (BOK) left interest rates unchanged at 3% surprisingly, while the market had expected a 25bps cut as the central bank is assessing the impact of successive rate cuts over the past year, while also looking to support the won.

USD/ KRW last rose 0.2% to 1,452.27, following the announcement.
