Major Nvidia (NVDA.US) customers are delaying orders for AI chips with the latest Blackwell racks on overheating issues, according to The Information. The first batch of racks delivered with Blackwell-architecture chips have been overheating and exhibiting glitches when connected to each other, and major customers such as Microsoft (MSFT.US), Amazon.com (AMZN.US)'s cloud unit, Alphabet (GOOGL.US)'s Google and Meta Platforms (META.US) cut some of their orders for Blackwell GB200 racks, the report said. It was not clear how much the order cuts would affect Nvidia's sales, as there may be other buyers interested in purchasing the glitchy GB200 server racks, the report added. AAStocks Financial News |
