GAC: CN Cross-border E-Commerce Import/ Export Up 10.8% to RMB2.6T in 2024

Lu Daliang, press spokesman for the General Administration of Customs (GAC) of China, said at the press conference that digital trade in mainland China is booming. Based on preliminary statistics, in 2024, the import and export of cross-border e-commerce in the mainland amounted to RMB2.63 trillion, up 10.8%.

In 2024, the scale of foreign trade import and export in the mainland set a record high again, and an uninterrupted stream of new energy injected surging momentum into the development of foreign trade, Lu said.
