With Donald Trump about to return to the White House, the market is concerned that Hong Kong's Linked Exchange Rate System (LERS) may be affected.

Andrew Fung, CFO of HENDERSON LAND (00012.HK) and former executive director of HANG SENG BANK (00011.HK), said in a TV interview that the widespread use of the US dollar globally is pivotal to the US, and that the US does not want to see the "de-dollarization" of the greenback.
