UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880.HK) opened 3.11% lower this morning, bottoming at $48.95. It last traded at $49.6, down 3.6%, with 1.2623 million shares traded at $62.6104 million. Disclosed in its statement, TENCENT (00700.HK) reduced its holdings of UBTECH ROBOTICS by 19.0426 million shares on January 3 and 7 to cash in nearly $1.035 billion. The shareholding of TENCENT in UBTECH ROBOTICS was reduced from 8.05% to 2.08%, which was lower than the level that required disclosure of share interests. UBTECH ROBOTICS had announced at the end of December last year that its Chairman and CEO Zhou Jian and shareholders including Zhao Guoqun, Xia Yongjun, Wang Lin, Xiong Youjun and Xia Zuoquan terminated the concerted action agreement and promised not to sell their 70.4 million H shares within the next year. Subsequently, Xiong Youjun, Wang Lin and Zhao Guoqun also voluntarily promised not to sell their shares in the next 12 months. AAStocks Financial News |
