TENCENT Offloads Stake in UBTECH ROBOTICS for Days to Cash in $1.03B+

Disclosed in its statement, TENCENT (00700.HK) and its subsidiary, Image Frame Investment (HK) Limited, reduced their holdings of UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880.HK) by 9.2895 million shares and 9.7531 million shares respectively on January 3 and 7 at an average price of $59.3395 and $49.5522 per share. The total amount involved was nearly $1.035 billion. The shareholding of TENCENT and its subsidiary in UBTECH ROBOTICS was reduced from 8.05% to 2.08%, which was lower than the level that required disclosure of share interests.
