CN Dec Pax Car Exports Hike 6% YoY w/ NEVs Accounting for 30% of Exports

The export of passenger cars (including vehicle and CKD) in December 2024 amounted to 404,000 units, up 6% YoY and 2% MoM, according to the data released by China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). For the whole year of 2024, the total exports of passenger cars amounted to 4.791 million units, up 25% YoY. The data shows that NEVs accounted for 30.2% of total exports in December 2024, up 3.1 ppts YoY. Of which, exports of self-owned brands reached 345,000 units, up 4% YoY and 1% MoM.
