Tmall Integrates UnionPay Service for Direct Access to Govt Subsidies

Tmall and UnionPay have announced a partnership to officially integrate the UnionPay service. This collaboration allows consumers to directly access Cloud UnionPay government subsidies using the Taobao app, eliminating the need to redirect to other pages and simplifying the whole process. Tmall is the first e-commerce platform to enable access to UnionPay government subsidies without redirection. This service has been initially launched in Sichuan Province and plans to expand nationwide in the future. The UnionPay App offers trade-in subsidies of RMB10,000 to car buyers.
