The share price of self-driving technology company, Aurora Innovation (AUR.US), rocketed nearly 40% on Tuesday after the company announced partnerships with Nvidia (NVDA.US) and Continental. Pursuant to the agreement, the three companies will join forces to use Nvidia's technology to mass-produce the next-generation Drive Thor system-on-a-chip for driverless trucks, which will be integrated into the Aurora Driver, an SAE L4 autonomous driving system developed by Continental, which is scheduled for mass production starting in 2027.
