The Office of China National Narcotics Control Commission, the Ministry of Public Security, and the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration have jointly issued an opinion to further deepen the crackdown on illegal activities involving e-cigarettes with narcotics and prohibited substances, while providing strong support for enhancing departmental collaboration to systematically address the issue of "intoxicating e-cigarettes". The opinion clearly stated the need to legally combat the illegal production and sale of e-cigarettes, systematically address the illegal addition of narcotics and substitute substances in e-cigarette oils, severely crack down on the illegal manufacture of new narcotics and substitute substances like etizolam, promptly investigate and register the use of "intoxicating e-cigarettes", and clean up and rectify online illegal activities related to "intoxicating e-cigarettes".
