The US Department of Defense (DOD) announced that enterprises such as TENCENT (00700.HK), CATL (300750.SZ), ChangXin Memory Technologies, QUECTEL WIRELESS(603236.SH) and AUTEL TECHNOLOGY(688208.SH) were added to the "Section 1260H list", a list of companies that collaborate with the Chinese military. Its inclusion in the list is clearly a mistake, and emphasizing that TENCENT is not a defense industry enterprise or military supplier, and that it will work with the relevant US authorities to resolve the misunderstanding, TENCENT issued a statement saying.
