Volkswagen Group Plans to Roll out 30+ EV Models in CN by 2030

Volkswagen (China) revealed that it is currently implementing a comprehensive electrification strategy in mainland China to expand the group's lineup of electric vehicle (EV) models, Chinese media reported. The company plans to introduce 40 new models, of which 20 will be new energy vehicle models, by 2027, and over 30 EV models by 2030 in the Chinese market. Through collaborations with SAIC Group and XPENG-W (09868.HK), Volkswagen Group (China) said that it aims to supplement and strengthen the product lineup of its Audi and Volkswagen brands.
