GEELY AUTO (00175.HK) is poised to launch a new sedan and SUV equipped with its new-generation "Super Methanol and Gasoline Hybrid" technology in 2025, according to Chinese media. Geely's new-generation "Super Methanol and Gasoline Hybrid" purportedly realizes the flexible proportioning of methanol and gasoline fuels in the same fuel tank, and adopts the world's first methanol engine. The engine's thermal efficiency reaches the world's highest of 48.15%, and breaks new ground in realizing the start-up of methanol fuels at low temperatures of minus 40 Degrees Celsius, which can meet the needs of a wider range of B-end and C-end users.
