HKEX (00388.HK) announced that the number of listed companies in Hong Kong increased to 2,631 by the end of 2024, up by 22 from the beginning of 2024. There were 71 new listings in 2024, with 68 on the Main Board and three on GEM, while a total of 49 stocks were delisted during the year, according to the Report on IPO Applications, Delisting and Suspensions (December 2024).
