At the 14th meeting of the 16th Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People's Congress, the "Beijing Municipal Regulations on Autonomous Vehicles“ was passed, with effect from April 2025. Autonomous vehicles that have passed the road test and safety evaluation can apply for testing on the road.
